Hungary

Hungary is probably not high on most travellers’ list of places to visit, but it is still a popular tourist destination. Even though we only had time to visit the capital we did not regret spending a few days to see something quite different from other destinations. We would encourage travellers to spend some time in this part of the world, not only travelling to Hungary but to other countries nearby like Austria and Croatia.

Travel Tips

• Currency – the Hungarian Forint is still the preferred currency, but the euro is also widely accepted.
