What’s not to love about New Zealand. Some of the most stunning countryside in the world, plenty of great ski fields, loads of character in every town or city you visit, and plenty to see, do and experience. No matter where you choose to go in New Zealand you will enjoy their hospitality, shopping and food.
Travel Tips
- Currency – the unit of currency is the NZ dollar, but all major credit cards are accepted.
- Visas – It is always best to check visa requirements for your own country. This link takes you to a comprehensive visa checklist and also provides other important information for the traveller.
Travel Alerts
- Check out the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade for relevant travel alerts.
- We travelled extensively around New Zealand by car, boat and train and felt perfectly safe. We also found the towns/cities we stayed in were vibrant and full of life, so we did not feel uncomfortable being out late at night.
Travel Adventures
- There are so many options to experience something unique and different in New Zealand. Try a helicopter flight and land on a glacier! Or visit Hobbiton from Lord of the Rings. Depending on your time you need to be a little bit picky as to what you do, so we suggest checking out the Tourism by New Zealand site. It is full of great adventures, all of which we are sure you will enjoy.
